How to Be Good at Sports

Some people have a natural aptitude for sports and can easily throw, catch, balance, run, jump etc etc. Other people have to work at their chosen sport. If there's a sport you want to be good at, follow these steps for guaranteed success.

    Pick your sport. It could be baseball, swimming, football, gymnastics, basketball, hockey, soccer, tennis, golf or any other sport you can think of.

    Learn how to play the sport. You can't play it without knowing how to. Try finding other people who play that sport, this will help to motivate you to play!

    Watch your chosen sport on television, or in person. It will help to become good at it, it will help you a lot.

    Practice. Practice makes perfect! Don't give up because no one is good when they start out! Ask for help from friends or even try getting one on one coaching!

    Join a team. Make sure that you can hit a baseball, throw a football or shoot a hockey puck. If you can't, keep training by yourself or with friends until you have mastered it. If you don't get in ask if you can at least come and practice with the team! While it may not be fun to do all the work but never go to games it will be worth it when there's try outs again and you can be on the team!
